  1. On December 1, 2016, Korindo announced the temporary moratorium on new land development for PT Papua Agro Lestari (PAL) concession while waiting for the finalization of the HCV (High Conservation Value)/HCS (High Carbon Stock) assessment since the assessment will be taken into consideration for future land development.
  2. On January 2, 2017, Korindo’s result of HCV (High Conservation Value)/HCS (High Carbon Stock) self-assessment done by BIOREF (the Research Center of Biodiversity and Tropical Forest Rehabilitation) from the IPB University was published on PT Papua Agro Lestari (PAL)’s official website. Based on the self-assessment result, Korindo decided to lift the moratorium on PT Papua Agro Lestari (PAL) and maintains to uphold the commitment to preserve conservation areas.
  3. On February 21, 2017, Korindo announced the temporary moratorium reinstatement due to concerns from stakeholders that the HCV/HCS assessment has not yet gone through the peer review and the quality panel review.
